DIRECTIONS TO THE RICHMOND FIELD STATION

The UC Berkeley Richmond Field Station in Richmond, California, (continues to be known as Environmental Engineering and Health Science Laboratories, EEHSL) is a satellite campus located just west of Highway 580 approximately 4 miles North of Berkeley's main campus.

From The South (San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland):

Take Highway I-80 East (signs say I- 80 Sacramento).
Continue through Berkeley (Ashby, University, and Gilman exits).
Take I- 580 West exit to the right (signs say I- 580 - San Rafael Bridge).
Exit at Bayview (2nd exit on the right)
Turn left at the stoplight at the end of the ramp.
The road goes over the freeway and curves right to a stop sign, becoming Meade.
Go straight at the stop sign.
Take your second possible left onto S. 47th (1/4 mile) as if you're entering Zeneca.
Immediately turn right to Richmond Field Station
Stop at the guard shack (you're now on Robin).
After the guard shack turn left onto Egret (signs say to the Env. Eng. & Health Sci. Labs - Bldg. 112)
Straight at the stop sign at Bldg. 175 (Eucalyptus trees to the left of road.)
EEHSL is located in Bldg. 112 on the right side of the road.

From The East (Fairfield, Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, Woodland):

Take Highway I-80 West (towards San Francisco).
Exit at Carlson Blvd. exit in Richmond.
Go right at stoplight at the end of the ramp (you're now on Carlson).
Turn left at the second traffic signal (Bayview).
The road goes over the freeway and curves right to a stop sign, becoming Meade.
Go straight at the stop sign.
Take your second possible left onto S. 47th (1/4 mile) as if you're entering Zeneca.
Immediately turn right to Richmond Field Station
Stop at the guard shack (you're now on Robin).
After the guard shack turn left onto Egret (signs say to the Env. Eng. & Health Sci. Labs - Bldg. 112)
Straight at the stop sign at Bldg. 175 (Eucalyptus trees to the left of road.)
EEHSL is located in Bldg. 112 on the right side of the road.

From The North (Marin County, San Rafael, North of Marin on 101):

Take Highway I-580 East (signs say I- 580 Oakland).
Continue over Richmond - San Rafael Bridge
Exit at Regatta (about 5 miles after bridge).
Go straight at stoplight at the end of the ramp (you're now on Meade).
Take your first possible right onto S. 47th (1/4 mile) as if you're entering Zeneca.
Immediately turn right to Richmond Field Station
Stop at the guard shack (you're now on Robin).
After the guard shack turn left onto Egret (signs say to the Env. Eng. & Health Sci. Labs - Bldg. 112)
Straight at the stop sign at Bldg. 175 (Eucalyptus trees to the left of road.)
EEHSL is located in Bldg. 112 on the right side of the road.
